Hello ..before answering your question, I would like to know whether you are doing proper warm up stretches.. Myofascial trigger points may be the cause for your pain..contact a nearby physio who specialises in trigger point release therapy
Hello ,causes for heel pain are sprain ,strain , fracture , bursitis , Achilles tendinitis etcc.. In your case it could be ligament injury or tear due to overstress or Achilles tendinitis . Take rest for few days . Don't run till it heals completely otherwise symptoms worsen day by day. Take pain killers to relieve pain . Get an x Ray and consult orthopedic surgeon.
