Pain in finger and back.
My husband is experiencing pain in the middle finger of right hand only on exerting it. Otherwise it is ok. Is it a ligament injury? Also he experience pain in lower back on exertion like too much walking, standing, or sitting for long at one position. Suggest what to do doctors?

Hi...., probably it could be due to ligament sprain....rest and immobilize the affected finger....Apply ice packs to the affected area.. Applying splints will reduce the movements and heals the ligament tear if any.... Gently rub the area to relieve pain and to encourage blood flow. Do not massage the injured area if it causes pain.....Consider pain relieving medications....And your husband should Maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight strains back muscles....Consult Orthopedician for further advice....
