Pain in chest and back
Hello, My mother was experiencing chest pain 2 days back, we took her to a doc and he said bcoz of gasses as she fasted for a month. Pain continued next day and in the morning we took to a hospital and we had ECG done and dr said its normal and pain is bcoz of gasses. But the pain continued and evening we took to another hospital they took ECG and said there is minute observation and it may be bcoz of age or obesity. Monday morning do a 2D echo and heart stress test. She is not sweating neither pain in left hand. Now there is no pain in the chest too. Plz advise. Wat i m thinking is to consult a cardio specialist today evening in a private clinic and then proceed.

Hi, As your mother is >50 years of age,  better to evaluate for cardiac issues. Symptoms all could be due to gastritis only but Better to consult cardiologist and if needed to get a stress test,  if 2D Echo is normal.
