My grandfather age 78 , suffering from a mild pain in left side of abdomen , He afraids that there is a cancer in stomach ? Is n't it chances of having cancer ?

[ ] Left sided abdominal pain can be due to gastritis, left sided colitis ( infection of colon) or may be a muscular pain. If it's in loin or slightly lower back then it may be due to left kidney stone. You need to go for a ultrasound of abdomen to rule out above problems . feel free to ask any further quary.
