Pain due to hernia
Sometimes my grandfather use to suffer from hernia pain actually not always but last night he was suffering form a unbearable pain and in emergency we used ice pack which was not that much effective but it reduced some pain but I wanted to Know if further this kind of situation occurred what initiatives should we take in emergency as we are living in dhanbad so there are not much facilities available and it's a situation of pandemic so we can't visit hospitals without proper facilitys so please suggest some ways to face such kind of situations .

Severe pain in hernia is not a good sign.
And it can be because of strangulation.
Take proper check up.

I see that in your diagnosed conditions you have mentioned strangulated hernia.Any strangulated hernia needs operative to prevent further complication. Even if Covid 19 is there(and looks it is going to be there for some time) if emergency situations are there they cannot be avoided.

Which Hernia not mentioned, however, think it to be inguinal or femoral hernia
Again clarity is needed whether its one sided or both. How long did it exist? Precautionary consult a general surgeon to rule out strangulation which is very risky. However the patient needs to avoid getting constipation, cough and sneezings as these create pressure at abdomen and aggravates herniation.
Sometimes an untreated hernia can lead to potentially serious complications.
Hernia may grow and cause more symptoms. It may also put too much pressure on nearby tissues, which can cause swelling and pain in the surrounding area. A portion of intestine could also become trapped in the abdominal wall causing strangulation as referred to above.
