Pain btwn shoulder blades

I am feeling a nail hitting pain in my upper left back between the shoulder blades. The pain is worst when i move my head towards left or right. Feeling some little pain on neck also

Hi there...was there any history of trauma? If not, such pain could be due to many reasons like muscle spasms, slip disk, spondylitis. It will require detailed clinical examination and further investigations including x rays. So kindly consult a orthopedic for further evaluation and treatment. For now you can take oral paracetamol 650mg, twice daily for pain and give complete rest to that area.
