If posture, the most common cause has been addressed well, please get yourself examined by a Physiotherapist who can find out other reasons like myofascial inflammation or trigger points.. In these conditions, manual therapy sessions for myofascial release or trigger point therapy may be needed.. Electrotherapy, taping, dry needling etc may also be suggested..
Health Tips
Try rolling a hard rubber ball over the back on the painful area, pressing it against the wall in standing position.. this can be done as a self help method to release the hard painful knots you may come across.... Use of Theracane an 'U' shaped stick to massage the point is another choice... Ice packs over the area for ten minutes followed by warm shower can help after this procedure..
