Wisdom teeth extractions generally take longer to heal than other teeth, especially if it was impacted and bone had to be trimmed to remove the tooth. Avoid hard and spicy food.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist for irrigation of the area, that will help speed healing.
Health Tips
Do warm saline mouth rinse and don't disturb the area.
