Oximeter Reading
Today I walked for one hour and haven't drunk much water. I checked my oximeter reading after walking for an hour, it was 93 for some seconds and rhen it climbed to 98! I put it again and it was 98 only! What is my actual reading? I recovered from covid in April and I am fully vaccinated also.

Sometimes there are initial fluctuations when you put pulse oximeter and the reading which you get after fluctuations are over and is stable for at least 30 seconds is your actual reading. Best to be taken on middle finger

Pulse oximeter saturation is to be read after 1 minute of attaching the device Also the standardization of the device matters in the reading Various other factors are also responsible for showing variation in saturation
