I have one overlaping canine, due to which i was having pain from few days... I consulted a doctor nearby. He told me RCT will be done. I wanna ask if RCT will be a permanent solution. As she told me there will be no further infections afterwards.

Pain associated with canine may require RCT treatment. RCT is a permanent solution. The present day endodontic treatment with newer armamentarium assures you a good longterm results.

Hi, if overlapping canine is causing u aesthetic issues then braces treatment or rct/crown should help you, but.if there is an infection present or deep cavity issue then perhaps an rct will be required, go with what your dentist says or get a second opinion if need be.. all the.best
