Budesonide is a inhalation steroid In most of the cases single dose of 2.5 mg will not cause much harm. But you should consult a pediatrician physically for detailed systemic examination.

It's understandable to be concerned after accidentally giving an incorrect dose of medication. Budicort (budesonide) is an inhaled corticosteroid, and while giving an entire 5-respule dose (2.5 mg in total) is significantly higher than the typical single dose for an infant, it's reassuring that your baby has taken normal feeds and is sleeping well without any immediate side effects.
In most cases, a one-time higher-than-normal dose of budesonide is unlikely to cause severe harm, but itâs essential to monitor your baby closely for any signs of potential side effects such as:
Increased irritability or unusual sleepiness
Changes in breathing patterns or difficulty breathing
Vomiting or a decrease in feeding
Next Steps
Since it has been over 2.5 hours and your baby seems well, this is a good sign. However, I recommend contacting your pediatrician or a local poison control center for specific advice and reassurance. They may suggest observation at home or, in rare cases, further evaluation.
