Does walking cause damage to bones by friction.since I m a diabetic therefore I need to walk to maintain metabolism .therefore help me to figure it out whether it's good to walk in my condition.

Walking on level ground is only recommended and is in fact good for the knees.Walking on uneven surfaces /walking uphill or downhill and doing steps can be avoided

Yes walking is good for you. Walking does not damage bones, but heavy wieght can contribute in joint degeneration.
