Facing severe pain in knee and not able to walk .our doctor has asked for physiotherapy who can home and do it.

I agree with Dr Harisha that there is no permanent solution it as this is a degenerative disorder. Acupuncture will certainly help in the pain management, once the pains come down; exercise therapy should take care to slow down the degenerative process to certain extent.

You can learn by your own after few sessions...There’s no cure for osteoarthritis as yet, but there are a number of treatments that can help ease symptoms and reduce the chances arthritis becoming worse...options are analgesics, NSAIDs,intraosseous steroid injection and hyaluronic acid injections,Physiotherapy like strengthening exercises etc ... Treatment depends upon the stage...
