Dear Madam, As per your history, the first thing is that osteoporosis is a state and not a disease, and it has nothing to do with inheretence. so if your mother has it dosent mean you will have it. the most important thing that will prevent it is a correct level of Vit D3, and good routein of exercises, but still with age it does occur, and postmenopausal women are more prone. So just have good diet, check your D level, and follow relegiously exercises.
