A simple plain xray would suffice, for diagnosis.

TO diagnose a scoliosis Xray is required . irrespective of age. Angle of Scoliosis or COBB's Angle can be measured by measuring it on film it self or digitally, only in cases of digital x-rays. Only after knowing the cobb's angle one would be able to precisely tell you what procedure to follow further .i.e (1) Conservative Management using just the therapeutic protocols and posture correction and orhtotic device. or (2) it has to be surgically rectified.
Next Steps
Visit an Orthopedician , so that he/she can refer to a radiological diagnostic centre.
Health Tips
Make sure the posture of the person remains correct. Consult nearest Occupational Therapist / Physio therapist to know how it can be rectified.STAY HEALTHY
