ORS for diabetes patients
My father has been diagnosed with COVID +ve. His prescription mention ORS in it. But he has diabetes. Is it safe for him to consume it?

We do not prescribe ORS for patient of covid 19. Does he have diarrhoea, vomiting, or is he dehydrated?. ORS in a diabetic patient is adviced only when there is any of the above mentioned problems!

He can take if he is fully dehydrated.. otherwise plain fluids can be substituted... More than 3 litres per day..
