Hi, there is no complete cure of osmf but yes symptomatic relief can be provided. For severe bands like in case of stage II and III surgically removal of bands is the choice of treatment. If it is stage I osmf you should also use tab turmix and topical steroid gel like triamcinolone acetonide to reduce your burning sensation. Avoid hot and spicy food with complete stoopage of adverse habit of chewing gutkha etc. Along with this oral physiotherapy exercise is very beneficial for reducing the band and proper movement.also there is intralesional steroid injections to relief from symptoms like burning sensationa and reduce tightness in cheeks by reducing the bands.
