Episodic one sided headache is most likely migraine headache. But some information such as duration of each episode of  headache, total how many years it's occuring, any associated other sign or symptoms, any factor that precipitate headache all these are  required for a confirm diagnosis. For the timing you can use any simple analgesic like paracetamol, ibuprofen or naproxen. But that should be taken early just at onset of headache with food. Take some sweaty food; avoid sounds music bright light, take rest in a calm & quiet room. If the episodes are very frequent and very disturbing then consult a neuro physician & have a brain imaging if any doubt of secondary headache
