Hello doctor, My husband is facing severe headaches past 1 week. He says he had migraine problem from almost 7-8 years, he was taking medicines prescribed by the doctor- migrest and vasograin. He got better after quitting smoking, but these days again he is having severe headaches, he vomits badly, could not sleep properly, had to drive daily 60-65kms for office and 800kms every weekend. He smokes and says it subsides the pain for 3-4 hours. I don't know what to do, does smoking really helps? Why is it happening? Because of less sleeping and more driving? Working 14hours a days on computer? Or what? Please suggest something, very worried for him. He always denies to visit doctor, feels helpless!

Headache can be due to various reasons like neurological,Ent,and visual etc..it seems he has work related stress and lot of travel etc..Headache can be due to that also..mainly he needs complete neurological evaluation and imaging if necessary.. Smoking will not have any control headache.. Upload all his reports in private consulting area.based upon his reports I will guide you accordingly
