My one month old daughter has a temperature of 97.8 Fahrenheit axillary . Her body seems to be hot is this normal or should I do a rectal temperature check too.

97.8 in axillary is not fever .. Baby's have their body warmer than us as their growth is going on... If temp is > 99.5 in axillary area then it is fever for Baby.. So Don't worry.. Continue exclusive breast feeding till 6 months of age
