From the photo, the white spot at the inner corner of your baby’s eyelid looks like it could be a small cyst, blocked tear duct opening, or a benign deposit. Many of these are harmless and may resolve on their own. However, because your baby is only 4 months old, any new spot in or around the eye should be checked by a pediatrician or pediatric eye specialist to rule out infection or other eye conditions.
Next Steps
Please schedule a visit with your pediatrician for direct examination. If you notice redness, swelling, discharge, your baby rubbing the eye excessively, or if the white spot increases in size, seek medical attention promptly.
Health Tips
keep area dry, if discharge gently wipe.
