Oil pulling is ancient method of detoxifying body and also helps in maintaining good oral hygiene. Oils like coconut oil, sesame oil are used as they have antifungal, anti viral and anti microbial properties..swishing of oils in mouth for 15-20 mins and then should rinse with warm water then brush your teeth. These days newer mouthwashes are there like Colgate plax,Listerine. which are much better compared to oil pulling. However these mouth wash shown altered taste sensation in long term use in some individuals. Oil pulling is also good oral hygiene method if you are comfortable with it..

Do you mean to say flossing? After every meal it needs to be done ideally. Try doing twice daily at least after brushing.

Oil pulling refers to forcefully ‘pulling’ oil( currently, virgin or cold pressed coconut oil is the pet) interdentally between the teeth with the oral musculature and the spitting out the ‘used’ oil It is very popular in Western countries with supposed many health benefits. My personal opinion is that it makes no difference whether you do it or not. If you feel it fine you may try it.
