Oesophageal cleft and cough
Has a oesophageal cleft from an accident from when i was 2.5 year old now i am 20 ( drank nitric acid).for over a year small amounts water and food has been staying in the throat with mucus so i did'nt know if it was because of the mucus or the cleft so i did'nt pay much attention but also from over a year i've had severe cough leading to vomiting and peeing are they anyhow related and did'nt have a endoscopy for the past 10 years and i couldn't swallow pills or large chunks of food since 2.5

Hello user.... There can be 2 problems here... 1. Esophageal stricture which is quite common and due to which there is a spill over in the wind pipe.... 2. There can be esophageal stricture with fistula.... Needs a thorough evaluation....
