Why Fluvoxamine is better than fluoxetine for OCD? Why psychiatrist prescribe Fluvoxamine for new patients rather than fluoxetine.

Fluvoxamine is more selective for serotonin reuptake inhibition than fluoxetine..OCD has serotonergic imbalance so fluvoxamine is preferred for fast symptom reduction
