Asked for Male, 21 Years

Sir I am on Fluvoxamine50 1-0-1 and clomipramine (syconil ) 12.5 0-0-1 . This is fine for my OCD but these are very expensive. So which ssri is cheaper... I had tried flunil 60 per day but didn't help me. Also tried Escitalopram which cause me suicidal thoughts... So which ssri are cheaper and are effective as Fluvoxamine 50 and clomipramine 12.5 for my OCD and Depression?

Hello...clomipramine is not an SSRI but works wonders in OCD with depression. Fluvoxamine is another great drug for OCD. As u had mentioned that u tried 60mg flunil earlier n didn't help u, therefore it's recommended to take the same drugs that u have been prescribed already. Frequent changes of drugs without any side effects is not recommended. It's great that ur OCD n depression is under control with whatever meds u have been taken..so I would suggest u to continue the same meds and if required doses can be altered in view of ur changing symptoms if any. Thank you
