Obesity in 65 year old Arthritic lady
Its about my mother who is 65 years old needs to do weight loss. She does some yog/pranayam but no effect. She has Arthritis so can not walk(slowly) more than 30 mins. Diet is pure veg and very normal and simple. Kindly suggest what can be done for weight loss in safe manner. Height : 5ft 1 inch, Weight 71 Kg, Age : 65 years, BP : 145/90 approx(taking medicine), Diabetes : Yes (in control by medicine), Arthritis : Yes (taking calcium), some intestinal ulcer problem history.

She needs to take high fiber low fat diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Ask me directly for customized diet plan for her.
