Numbness in one side
Dear doctor, my wife suffering from slight numbness in one hand and same side leg fingers. She is feeling head ache when watching phone or TV for long time or hearing loud noise. She is 30, mother of 2 kids aging 3.5y and 7 months respectively. She is breastfeeding our 2nd kid. We consulted a couple of doctors. One doctor told it's common for the breastfeeding mother's. But other doctor told it's a minor stroke and she need to undergo scans. Can you please help us in understanding whether these are symptoms are related to stroke or its just because of breastfeeding and holding the baby for longer time and sleeping one sided and feeding kid.

Generally one side numbness in hand and only leg fingers may be due to sitting in awkward postion and breast feeding or due to a condition called carpal tunnel syndrome Yes sometimes it can be due to stroke The general involvement is right side face, upper and lower limb- it is called thalamic stroke But I feel this is not stroke You can consult for a detail evaluation on call/video consultation for detail history taking and if necessary medications and to evaluate if any scans are required Thank you

Unlikely stroke but needs to consult to find the proper cause. Maybe posture related
