From last few days my father is feeling numbness in his two fingers adjuscent to the thumb . he is feeling needles like and numbness like in the tip of finger what can be the reason for it

Hi there... Hand pain, numbness, which increases in night could be due to thoracic outlet syndrome or carpel tunnel syndrome or hypothyroidism, cervical disc prolapse...it can be due to local causes like blocked arterial supply to particular portion of hand,trauma to the part,nerve compression,carpal tunnel syndrome, joint disorders etc...Consult nearest neurologist they will do the needful.
