Numbness in feet
Hello doctor. Great to have you assisting us. My father is a diabetic patient since 20 years. Hes 60 year old. Since last one year he has developed a problem of numbness in feet. I.e on toes fingers, but in feet area only. That also only when he sleeps. Or else not. He also complains of tingling which irritates and disrupts his sleep. We tried alot of doctors but they just suggest sleeping pills and depression tablets. Can you suggest something good to improve his nerves functionality? These days morning fasting blood sugar is 200+

His diabetes is not under good control, he also has developed peripheral neuropathy symptoms. There are medications available to relieve the symptoms but the main culprit is high blood sugar levels which should be controlled by adjusting his medications, please consult a diabetologist or endocrinologist.
