NSG and TORCH screening Enquiry
Hi, I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and recently consulted our doctor regarding a neurosonogram (NSG). Our family gynecologist has suggested both an NSG and TORCH screening, but the consulting doctor in Bangalore mentioned that these may not be necessary. Could you please advise if the NSG is essential in our case? Would it help in detecting any abnormalities that might not be visible otherwise? Also, is TORCH screening recommended at this stage of pregnancy, and how relevant is it to our current situation?   Here are the measurements from the latest scan: Right lateral ventricle: 7.8 mm Left lateral ventricle: 8.1 mm Cisterna magna: 7 mm Intracranial structures appear normal
