Generally if a child has achieved his milestones on time , can hear properly and has normal general understanding as seems to be the case with Manas , then an isolated speech delay needn't be much of concern . You just speak more to the child , read out colorful story books and encourage him to speak As regards the other complaints like hitting , crying too loud may be normal temper tantrums of this age or may just be attention seeking activities . Either way you should not get too perturbed by them . Nevertheless if persistent you could meet with a Pediatrician who would be able to tell you in detail how to manage these issues
