Not Lactating enough
We have a baby boy on 9/11/24, my wife is not Lactating enough to feed the baby. She is taking Shatavari Powder, Lactare capsules and good diet as directed by the gynecologist. The baby is also latching good. But she is not Lactating enough. She tries to Pump breast milk with pump as well. But not enough milk. We are forced to feed the baby with Prenan formula. Please suggest what we can do or which doctor to consult. It's painful to see the baby cry.

It is advisable to not feed the baby formula milk . Your wife needs a detailed breastfeeding evaluation . Initial few days it takes for breastfeeding to establish.
