Not getting periods

Asked for Female, 26 Years

I had been married 3 months ago and have taken more than 15 ipills after marraige my fiRST period was 7 days earlier and then in next month it was 5 days earlier and now in this month i am not having periods and its been 16 days delayed and i am not pregnant is there some serious issues?

Hello, I went through query, I pill is hormonal pill, used to avoid pregnancy in emergency basis only. It should be used on regular basis, if used can cause serious adverse effects, this delay in periods could be due to ipill, but needs to get one pregnancy test too (ipill is only 95% effective even taken within 24hrs of unprotected intercourse). For regular basis to avoid pregnancy, condoms or copper - T are best options, Consult gynecologist to know more.
