My son is 3.5 yrs he is trying to speak a lot and saying rhymes but it's not clear should I take him to speech therapist, pediatrician said he will speak slowly

Yes! You do need to meet a Speech Therapist! but you need lots of patience and need to persistently work along with your speech therapist over upto 6 months of therapy to make your child relearn how to speak properly!
