I got a nose piercing last Sunday and after two days the area around it got swollen and sore. I started applying neosporin on it and day by day the redness and swelling gradually decreased. Fearing that the nose pin might get embedded below skin while it is healing, I consulted a doctor who prescribed me the antibiotic Clavam-625 for 3 days and Fucidin-H ointment for 3 weeks. I have completed 2 days of antibiotics and swelling and soreness has majorly decreased. If I push from below, the nose pin is visible under the swollen skin area. However, I still fear the embedding of the nose pin. How can I be sure that it won't get embedded? I am sceptical of removing it on my own. Do suggest how to take care of this. I am attaching photographs for reference. These images are after two days of taking antibiotics. What do I do?
