Nosal block during sleep

Asked for Male, 3 Years

My child 3yrs 9mnth old has severe nosal block observed from yesterday. He doesn't have cold but nosal block completely during sleep. Used pediatric nosal drop but doesn't work. What could be the reason? He is having fever as well from yesterday

Nasal congestion is early sign of cold and flue like illness Frequent normal saline nasal drops, give anti histamine medications, hot water steam with supervision, paracetamol for fever, Avoid allergen like smoke, strong smelling, spray, Complete rest No school He will be all right in 3-4 days If he will develop Coughing, high grade fever, irritation Visit your Pediatrician

Seems like he is going to develop cold soon. Continue nasal drops. You may give steam inhalation under full supervision for relieving nose block. Keep him hydrated. Give paracetamol in appropriate dose if body temperature > 100 deg F.
