Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus
The patient is 80 and has been suffering from Nph for almost 4 years. He has been taking blood pressure medication for both morning and evening. He is physically strong, however is getting viral infections lately causing his mouth to turn red in colour along with fever and cough. He is under treatment right now. Also, the patient can't do everyday activities on his own (eating, sitting, etc.) but gets aggressive very frequently. The patient has done a 30ml tap test, which showed little to no improvements. Is shunt a suitable option? And whom to consult near Mumbai. Kindly help. Thankyou!
