Wife has PCOS and had a period nonstop for ~2 months. Doctor put her on birth control. This worked for maybe 2 months. Then one week she did not take them for a few days. This is right after she had the stomach flu. She went back on them and it has been a week and her period has not stopped. The pills don't expire until next year. She does not want to go to the doctor if it isn't necessary. What do you recommend? Thank you.
