No vision after cataract
On 4th August , my mother had catract operation. Her age is 58 and she is diabetic but in control . After operation she is complaining that unable to see from that eye. Her doctor told it was due to sugar was high that caused swelling in eye. He has prescribed some medicines and asked to wait for 3-4 days. Could you please suggest?

what is the level of sugar at present and what was the level before  operation. that will  decide whether it is due to sugar or something else. if due to long standing diabetes  the retina is damaged  then  inspite  of a good operation  its  likely  not to regain  vision.
