No periods even after stopping novelon
Hi I'm 25 and I have prolonged bleeding prob but every month I get my periods on time but it'll be prolonged for more than 2weeks. My scan was clear so dr has advised me novelon for 3 cycle. I've been taking it for 2 cycles and now I'm not even getting my monthly periods. Is this normal ? But I was getting my periods every month and now after taking it for 2 months I'm not even getting. Can u pls explain me the cause of it and should I start my last cycle of tablets or shall I stop it and pls let me kno if this is normal to not get periods atal but I was bleeding in between the tablets and now after the 21 days dose I'm not getting periods, it's lyk I get one drop a day and I don't kno if it's period and don't kno how to start the next cycle of tablets

Sometimes heavy prolonged periods do a lot of damage to supporting structures of uterine lining and it bleeds like very heavy. With Novelon the uterus lining is healing. Take Novelon for 3 months . Take stop it and see what happens. Most likely your periods will be less heavy after uterine lining has build up after 3 cycles of Novelon Get thyroid test done empty stomach early morning and get corrected any issues in thyroid Take care dear
