No orgasm,Facial paralysis,forgetfulness
Frm Aug 2023, I started feeling numb in my head. My throat and nose go paralyzed( sometimes partially, sometimes fully) and when it feels totally paralyzed, I get trouble breathing and swallowing. And my whole body was shaking for next 10 days. I couldn't even fall asleep. Then doctor gave me treatment for falling asleep and for anxiety and depression for 6 months. Still my head didn't feel well. From Jan 2024 I cannot feel my head and it feels jammed. I am forgetful now. My libido has gotten very low. I can't have orgasm. I used to have orgasm easily. Now I don't feel pleasure in my head even after my clitoris is licked. My neck, head , throat, chest all feel jammed/semi paralyzed from inside which makes it hard for me to have orgasm. I cannot feel pleasurable sensation in head during masturbation and sex. Thyroid is normal, basic blood tests are normal, brain MRI - mild narrowing of cavernous part of bilateral internal carotid artery. Neck mri- mild posterior bulge at c3 c4 c5 c6 c7

You appear to be experiencing depressive symptoms based on your history; the severity of these symptoms can be determined following a thorough history evaluation. Depression affects several aspects of functioning, including mood and cognition, which affects day-to-day functioning on a personal and professional level. The brain's neutrotransmitter imbalance causes abnormal feelings, changes in regular thought patterns, and altered emotional states. The main diagnosis of depression may include diminished or absent libido, or it may be an individual diagnosis; nonetheless, a thorough history evaluation is required to rule out the other possibilities. Anxiety is a very exhausting condition itself, and it typically accompany majority of the psychiatric condition. The sensation of not being paralysed may be a severe anxiety symptom. With the right management approach, it can be managed.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist.
Health Tips
If your Lipid profile is normal and as mentioned if the reports are normal and you don’t suffer from any other comorbidities, then the MRI Brain finding can be accidental and not of much significance, could be congenital as well, but be watchful. About the MRI neck, if any pain or symptoms are present, you can take an opinion of an orthopaedic surgeon, nothing bothersome though.
