No heart beat of fetus on 6 week 2days
Her monthly cycles are regular. Lmp was 16th October 2024. Doctor has done usg on 30th Nov 2024 (6 week 2 days). Doctor said no heart beat and advised to wait for 15 days more. On usg findings Yolk sac seen. Is the pregnancy going to any complication ???

Its only 6 weeks. What about fetal pole? Sometimes ultrasound might be able to pick up in few cases, so radiologists would suggest to wait for one week. If even by then, there is no heart beatorfetalpole, they it would be a blighted ovum which would require termination. For now, stay strong and hopeful and wait. The heartbeat appears only at 7 weeks At 6 weeks and 2 days heartbeat is not expected At 6 weeks fetal pole should be seen Also no point waiting for 15 days repeat ultrasound after 5 days If there is no heartbeat you need to proceed with termination
