New mom struggling to feed the baby
I gave birth 3 days ago and can only see foremilk when i press my nipples hard. The flow is also not enough, its just a few drops. Sometimes my baby latches on my breasts for 10-15 mins, some times he isn't interested at all. I am not sure if the baby is being fed properly. He cries irritably at times. I bought a milk pumper today to see the flow, hardly 2 drops of foremilk was collected. What should I do? I know i should try and feed him every 2 hours, but is he getting enough supply?

It takes time for milk to be produced consistently. Continue breastfeeding every 2hrs as soon as baby wakes up. As babies start sucking the demand increases and for that, the supply will also start increasing in your body. Initial few days you’ll be getting watery colostrum.,which is very healthy for baby . You can drink galact powder with milk everyday. Drinkplenty of water and other liquids High proteindiet is a must Please connect for any further assistance.
