New mom - milk supply
Hi doctor, My baby is 23 days old I was suggested to give my milk first, followed by formula. It's been 23 days and my milk supply is low. How to increase my milk supply. Please share ur suggestions. Thanks Swathi

Breastfeeding is demand supply game. More the demand more the supply. Reason for low supply should be formula feed.. it will decrease breastfeeding demand of baby.
Next Steps
Try to slowly taper formula feed and increase breastfeeding. Increased demand from baby will automatically increase supply.. nd have faith that you have enough milk.

Greetings drink plenty of water , add more vegetables nd fruits , try to feed every 2 hrly , check the baby weight

Hi , first of all don't take stress for breastfeeding. Be happy , it will give positive response to brain for producing more hormones and milk production. There are few medicines like galact powder for increasing milk . But need to check the weight first and then only can guide you further.birth weight and current weight
