The two most important factors for good lactation are a good healthy balanced diet by you and regular suckling by your baby AND of course,a relaxed mental state. Give feeds at a gap of atleast 3 hours, not before, give nothing else by mouth, don't wake her up for a feed. Some medicines DO help. Cap lactare 2 caps thrice a day and tab perinorm 1 tab twice a day for 15 days can be tried, but if it doesn't work, stop. If it does, continue for 3 months. But try the former first,it usually helps.

Hi,this is most common problem which nursing mother goes through during early infancy of the baby, frankly the medicines are least effective though lot of people have tried t.metaclopromide(perinorm) ,the tab normally used for vomiting can be sometimes useful for increasing milk production when used in addition to other galactogogues like galaxy granulea but in my opinion all mother's have to calm down not worry and be at peace while nursing the baby and feel all the love for the baby and feel that your milk is definitely helping the baby to be healthy and happy because milk production for mother is more from the mind (brain) which releases prolactin which in turn stimulates milk production, lastly eat healthy food,( everything and anything healthy )drink lots of water ..and good sleep...hope this helps..wish you a happy motherhood..
Health Tips
Stop believing in false myths surrounding food during breast feeding no food you eat actually harms your baby.Just eat healthy and fresh most of the time.
