Hi Doctors,
My lil one is 8 weeks old n she is having nose blocking issue, i checked with paediatrician n they asked me to use nasal drops. I'm using them extensively, but still
she is having difficulty while feeding n sleeping.
I tried giving steam as well, but it is not helping much.
Could you please suggest is there any medicine i can use??
Note: there is no running nose
Thanks in Advance

If no runny nose, then no need of cold medicine.
Their nose opening is 25% the size of an adult so can get easily blocked
-Keep the baby warm
-Sit with the baby in a bathroom were warm mist is generated from hot tap water
-Make the baby wear socks
-Caps covering the ears
-Encourage more feeds
-Avoid bottle feeding (it can be the cause here, if being given)
It can be there from November to February
Health Tips
