My baby born in 23 aug 2022.. he is 3 days old... he is in nicu.. recently he had some blood test in which hb is 21.1.... is it high?? does this hb making him less active? he is 3.5 kg

This is very common in Newborn for initial few days of life.
Hematocrit percentage is better than hemoglobin in Newborn assessment.
There may be another reason for nicu admission.
There may be sepsis, birth asphyxia, seizure, desaturation.
You may consult Pediatrician as second opinion.

Need no to know more why a 3.5kg child is in NICU, then we can say about the reason for high Hb.
High Hb usually falls down to normal in a week but can later on result in jaundice too.
