New born feeding
My 22 days old daughter is not feeding properly. How regular should she be fed and for how long? Should I wake her up to feed, if she is sleeping?

First 2 or 3 weeks the child are sleepy. Usually after 2nd week or when weight crosses 3.5kg, child becomes active. So till then can wake up the child in every 2 hours to feed the child. In Breastfeeding, difficult to tell the quantity but feed till the child wants usually around 15 to 20 minutes. Signs of adequate feed intake are: Weight gain of 300 to 400gm in 2 weeks Urine frequency of 6+ in 24 hours
