New born, bottle feeding or spoon feedin

Asked for Female, 34 Years

Hi, my baby is just 19days old, please advise spoon feeding or bottle feeding which is good? If I start bottle feed after 1month will that be fine? Now I pump my breast milk and spoon feed him as he can't latch. Please advise.

No bottle feeding ever. It can be reason for cough, cold and loose motions. You are doing it right, spoon feeding is the way.

Do not use bottle continue spoon feeding if you have to.If your baby is term and has no other health issues Consult a lactation specialist or pediatrician and get him to start feeding directly from the breast , the earlier you initiate the better it is for you and your baby.
