My 15 days old baby didn't cry much even if she is hungry or wet diaper and in deep sleep only she wake at time of massage and bath 1 hour and evening 2 hour and morNing 1 to 1.3 hour is it normal?can we do something to cut down his/her sleep?

Newborn during 1st month of life usually sleep for almost 20hrs in a day. So need to wake up the child and feed atleast once in 3hrs. As they grow up the sleeping time reduces and you will have to feed only when he's hungry.

Newborns sleep from 16 to 18 hours .This time will gradually reduce on it's own as the baby grows older . Wake the baby every 3 -4 hours for feeds in a semi demand schedule
